The muscle gaining process is always associated with some muscle pain. It is not the most pleasant experience, but most men are used to it. However, there are ways to make it less sharp.

We don’t promise that you will feel no pain, but it will sure be a lot less of a challenge to put up with it. In a long term, this will make you more dedicated to work out, because you won’t have a reason to avoid hard training.

As you may know, muscle pain is not only induced by the workouts in the gym. Every time you do some tough physical job, there is a chance that on the next day you will wake up only to find out that you won’t be using your muscles today.

Here are the main nutrients, that can soften that pain:

Magnesium

Magnesium is the mineral, which is never enough. Especially the male body is so magnesium-hungry, that you can hardly overdose it, unless you do it purposefully.

Slow carbs

You may already know that, but we will go through it once again.

Eat lots of pasta, oatmeal, rice and vegetables. This will provide you with a fresh source of energy for a long time. It will also make your muscles tire slower, which will result in a little to none muscle pain.
